Create Jamstack Applications with SvelteKit
An amazing Jamstack experience using Svelte and Contentful
According to the StackOverflow Developer Survey (2021) Svelte is the most loved framework. In this course you will have the opportunity to go hands on with Svelte by using SvelteKit - a framework to build web applications. Out of the box SvelteKit provides us with great features such as routing and server-side rendering amongst others.
As part of the course you will also have the chance to get familiar with Contentful - a popular headless CMS and see how to consume data from the CMS and display that in a SvelteKit project. Furthermore, we'll also integrate Cloudinary into to the project - firstly it will appear as the media storage for Contentful and secondly we'll also integrate Cloudinary to display a neat feature called a stoppable video.
Attracting visitors to engage with your product videos is an excellent way to boost clickthrough rates, and ultimately, sales. Shoppable video basically allows you to lists your products alongside your video in an expandable products bar, enables visitors to interact with your products and find out more details, links visitors to the relevant pages to make a purchase,aAdds clickable hotspots to the video to highlight your product’s exact location and brings products to life through interactivity.
Last but not least we'll take our completed project and deploy it to Vercel using GitHub.
By completing this course you will be able to utilise the aforementioned technologies as well as apply them to different projects.
